Itinerary

The day begins with a visit to the traditional pineapple greenhouses, an organic crop grown in glasshouses, where at the end you will taste its famous artisan liqueur.

The journey continues towards Sete Cidades with a stop at the Vista do Rei viewpoint, from where you can enjoy a stunning view of the Sete Cidades crater and its beautiful Blue and Green lakes.

The descent into the crater begins, where you will marvel at Lagoa de Santiago, a stop that precedes the arrival at the picturesque parish of Sete Cidades, where you can visit its centre.

Return to Ponta Delgada via Pico do Carvão, a privileged spot from which to observe the handsome verdant landscape of the island’s narrowest part and its coasts.
