We begin our cruise in the avieiro fishing village of Escaroupim, with its stilt houses, the fishermen’s boats and the Casa Museu dos Avieiros\u2026 we set off passing by Valada do Ribatejo, which seen from a distance is a carpet of little white houses. We observe the church, the marina, the boats… and in the background the Ponte Rainha D. Am\u00e9lia. We continue our journey and pass by Ilha dos Cavalos, Ilha dos Amores and Palhota, the village where Alves Redol lived and wrote the book \u201cOs Avieiros\u201d, and a little further on we can take in the ilha dos P\u00e1ssaros.
