    Our Family’s History:<\/h3>\n

    Now over 100 years old, Po\u00e7as is currently in the hands of the 4th generation, and is one of the rare Port Wine companies that was born Portuguese and has remained in the hands of the same family since its foundation. Our old Tawny Port wines built Po\u00e7as’ reputation, but for 30 years now the DOC Douro wines have also proved their quality.<\/p>\n

    In 2019 Po\u00e7as received the \u201cFortified Wine Producer of the Year 2018\u201d award, given by Revista de Vinhos.<\/p>\n

    The Po\u00e7as Visitor Centre has been open to the public since 2016 and was fully renovated in 2018 – an innovative project signed by architects L\u00facia Vaz Pato and Ant\u00f3nio Mota. Welcoming around 30,000 visitors a year, in 2018 the Visitor Centre was awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.<\/p>\n
