Quinta do Bomfim Hosts Wine Tasting and Painting Workshop
This exclusive event seamlessly blends art and wine in the stunning natural setting of the Douro Valley.
On June 14 at 3:00 PM, the Quinta do Bomfim will host “Wine Painting”, a Symington Family Estates property nestled in the heart of Pinhão. A unique experience designed to ignite the senses and unlock creativity.
Surrounded by terraced vineyards and the rolling hills characteristic of the region, attendees will enjoy a guided tasting of premium wines crafted by the Symington family, one of Portugal’s most celebrated winemaking dynasties. As guests sip and savor, they’ll be led through a hands-on painting session facilitated by local artist Gabriela Gonçalves.
To ensure a relaxed and personalized atmosphere, the workshop is limited to just 12 participants. Tickets are available for 50€ per person, and advance booking is strongly recommended due to limited availability.
For those wishing to extend their experience, Quinta do Bomfim will host “Wine Painting” and offers the “Merenda na Vinha” picnic lunch before the workshop begins. Served in a traditional basket, this regional meal features a selection of local delicacies and is presented in the same vineyard-inspired outdoor space as the event. The picnic is available for an additional 40€ per person.
The venue itself enhances the experience – designed to reflect the estate’s agricultural roots and the natural topography of the Douro. Expansive outdoor lounges and panoramic views over the Douro River offer a serene setting that brings together nature, heritage, and hospitality.
