Porto Cathedral (Sé do Porto)

The tour begins with a visit to the Porto Cathedral, located in the heart of the historic center. This is one of Portugal’s oldest monuments, where you can admire its impressive architecture and learn about its historical significance.

Dom Luís I Bridge

Next, you will visit the Dom Luís I Bridge. Built between 1881 and 1888, this iron bridge was designed by a disciple of the French civil engineer Gustave Eiffel and connects the cities of Porto and Gaia. It is one of the city’s most recognized landmarks.

São Bento Railway Station

Right after visiting Porto’s most famous bridge, the next stop will be at the São Bento Railway Station, renowned for its beautiful tiles. Built in 1916 and designed by Portuguese architect José Marques da Silva, the station is a masterpiece that connects the railway lines of Minho and Douro Valley.

Café Majestic

We then proceed to Café Majestic, considered in 2011 as the sixth most beautiful café in the world. Its woodwork, mirrors, and chandeliers are true works of art, making this café a must-stop.

Lello Bookstore

Continuamos a nossa walking tour We will also visit Lello Bookstore, one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world. This place inspired J.K. Rowling to create the staircases of Hogwarts in the Harry Potter books, making it a must-see for literature fans.

Clérigos Tower

The next stop is the Clérigos Tower and the adjacent church, symbols of 18th-century architecture. Designed by architect Nicolau Nasoni, both buildings are in the Baroque style and were classified as national monuments in 1910.

Ribeira District

The tour culminates in the Ribeira District, one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, located along the banks of the Douro River. This district is another UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a charming atmosphere with stunning views.
