The boats that were once used to harvest moliço (seaweed), and which now, with their sails replaced by electric motors, are the famous Moliceiros, are used to introduce important points of the city that you can then explore on foot, such as the Art Nouveau Museum, the Salt Pans, the Beira Mar neighbourhood and many others.

The Moliceiro boat trip is the most popular experience in Aveiro.

The sailor-guides who accompany tourists on the trip give the explanation in 4 languages: Portuguese, Spanish, English and French.
