Douro River Tour

Ready to escape the city? Discover more of the Douro.
Enjoy a boat tour on the Douro River, offering an extended and immersive experience along one of Portugal’s most iconic waterways. This scenic river cruise allows you to explore both the river mouth (Foz do Douro) and the beautiful riverside areas of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia.
Departing from Douro Marina, the route can extend between the Foz of the Douro River and the Crestuma‑Lever Dam, depending on the preferences of the group. This flexibility makes the tour ideal for those looking for a more personalized and relaxed Douro River experience.
Throughout the journey, enjoy panoramic views over the riverbanks of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, appreciating the scale, beauty, and calm of the Douro as it flows through the heart of the two cities. This longer cruise allows you to truly disconnect and experience the river at a slower pace, away from the crowds.
This 3‑hour Porto river cruise is perfect for groups seeking a deeper connection with the Douro River, combining natural landscapes, urban scenery, and the unique atmosphere that makes Porto such a special destination.
