If you are in a place where diving is one of the most popular activities, why not give it a try? You will never forget your first breath underwater!

The Azores are without a doubt one of the best destinations for diving in the Atlantic. Our diving season runs from April to October. Our dive sites are very diverse and can cater to every preference and level of experience, as we have more than 20 dive sites between the islands of Faial and Pico.

The most usual dive sites are located in a marine reserve, “Monte da Guia”, on the island of Faial, and to get to the dive site we always use a RIB, as it is around 5 minutes from our base. The temperature of our waters ranges between 20-24ºC in the summer months, so a 5mm or 7mm wetsuit is usually enough.

Marine life on the islands of Faial and Pico is fantastic! You will have the opportunity to observe curious triggerfish (Balistes carolinensis), dusky groupers (Epinephelus marginatus), parrotfish (Sparisoma cretense), octopuses and moray eels among the rocks, as well as small species such as colourful nudibranchs, among others.

If you do not have a diving certification, we also offer snorkelling trips at the dive sites, or an introductory dive, where you are always accompanied by a qualified instructor who will look after you underwater.

Beforehand, on land, you will have a short lesson on how all the equipment works and on all underwater communication. Afterwards, you will dive always accompanied by a dive guide who will look after you.
