PR9 – Transfer to Levada do Caldeirão Verde

Enjoy a convenient transfer to the PR9.1 trail access point in Madeira’s UNESCO World Heritage Laurissilva forest.

Our service provides transport to the PR9.1 access point, from where customers walk approximately 30 minutes to Casa das Queimadas, the starting point of the PR9 Levada do Caldeirão Verde trail. The hike is undertaken independently, without a guide accompanying you on the trail.

After completing the hike, our return transfer picks you up at the designated meeting point, providing convenient transport back.

The PR9 route passes through Laurissilva forest, tunnels and waterfalls, leading to the impressive Caldeirão Verde waterfall.

• Round-trip transfer from Funchal, Garajau, Caniço, Santa Cruz, Machico, Porto da Cruz, or Santana
• Drop-off at the PR9.1 trail access point
• Approximately 30-minute walk to Casa das Queimadas, where the PR9 trail begins
• Pickup after the hike at the designated meeting point
