About

This relaxing journey, with the scent of the sea, takes us to Avenida dos Bacalhoeiros, where we find Porto Bacalhoeiro.

This is the home of the entire Portuguese cod fleet, and the main fishing port of the Portuguese cod grounds. Heading towards the beaches, you will still pass by Jardim Oudinot, where you will find the Santo André Ship Museum, the Forte da Barra surrounded by a magnificent green space with a river beach.

In the same direction, you will also have a guided visit to the Aveiro Fish Market.

On the way out, we will see the magnificent bridge, from which we can enjoy the stunning view of our beaches surrounded by Sea and Ria, until we reach the beautiful Praia da Barra and its imposing and largest lighthouse in Portugal.

Immediately beside it is also the “” most colourful place in the world “”, the Costa Nova and its colourful houses (palheiros).
