Visitors can take a boat trip along the canals, stroll through the historic centre and taste the city’s famous sweet, ovos-moles. Aveiro is also home to several beautiful beaches, including the popular Praia da Barra, and is an excellent base for exploring the nearby Ria de Aveiro natural park.
