Discover the history of Peniche, passing through places full of stories and secrets, because it is not only monuments that tell them. Visit Peniche Fortress (includes a visit to the Fortress; does not include entry to the MNRL) and also enjoy a tasting of regional sweets from Peniche.

• The tour starts by the Peniche city walls, more precisely at the [“Jardim da Cascata”,] (https://maps.app.goo.gl/gv8Honsc4kJCRtQy6) which is the meeting point, and ends at Campo da República.
• The tour is guided and led by a local guide.
• Animals are permitted on this tour.
• The tour may not go ahead due to adverse weather conditions.
• There is free parking for vehicles next to the meeting point and the finishing point.
• Languages: Portuguese or English
• Maximum: 10 people
• Duration: around 03h00
• Route length: around 4km
• Difficulty: Medium/Low

Different prices for children:

• 0 to 5 years old: free
• 6 to 12 years old: half the price of an adult in the respective group
• 13+ years old: adult price
• Note: if there are only 1 adult and 1 child under 13, the minimum price is the same as for 2 adults.
