About

From the port of Baleeira towards Cabo de São Vicente we pass the Sagres headland with the Fortress, the beaches of Tonel and Beliche, as well as Fort Santa Catarina.
We round the famous Cape with its lighthouse at the top of the 70m cliff, which to this day is one of the most powerful in Europe. Since the Neolithic period this place has been considered sacred and has always been a very important cape for navigators, being the most south-westerly point of Europe.
