PR1 Pico do Areeiro to Achada do Teixeira: Hike – Transfer with Entry ticket

Discover Madeira’s most breathtaking mountain landscapes on a spectacular one-way hiking route from Pico do Areeiro to Pico Ruivo.
We provide convenient transport to Pico do Areeiro, where you can begin the PR1 self-guided hike towards Pico Ruivo. Your PR1 trail access ticket is included in the price. The route takes you through dramatic ridgelines, tunnels and panoramic viewpoints, including the iconic “Stairway to Heaven”, before continuing via PR1.2 to Achada do Teixeira.
After completing the hike, we pick you up at Achada do Teixeira and provide return transport to your original pickup area, allowing you to complete the route without needing to retrace your steps or arrange separate transport.
This service combines convenient transport and PR1 trail access for hikers, nature lovers and photography enthusiasts wishing to experience Madeira’s highest peaks independently and at their own pace.
The hiking activity is undertaken independently by the customer. No guide accompanies you on the trail.
