Sailing Experience

This private experience aboard a sailing boat is the ideal option for anyone wanting to experience the unique sensation of using only the wind to move and feel the adrenaline of the boat cutting through the water.

Duration

2 hours and 30 minutes, with check-in 15 minutes before the start of the trip. In the event of delays, BBDouro reserves the right to start the trip at the scheduled time.

About

After an explanation of how the boat is handled and the safety instructions to bear in mind, we will sail to the city centre to discover the highlights that both cities have to offer.
Along the way, you will have the chance to see some emblematic landmarks, such as the Arrábida Bridge, the old market (Alfândega), the Port wine cellars and the Luiz I Bridge.
Back to the marina, heading towards the Atlantic Ocean, we will pass by the Foz do Douro area and the Nature Reserve.

Please bear in mind city traffic and make sure you arrive in time for the trip.
On arrival at Douro Marina, please go to the gate of quay D and wait for one of the skippers, identified by their BBDouro equipment, to check you in and accompany you to the boat.
