About the Tour

The first stop will be at a cheese producer, where you will have the opportunity to understand the whole process of creating this gastronomic marvel and taste the famous Serra da Estrela Cheese!

The morning is only just beginning! We will now begin our adventure to discover the “Novo Dão” wines, produced with awareness and knowledge passed down from generation to generation, something that truly puts the Dão region on the map. We will start by visiting a Quinta that has belonged to the same family for at least 4 generations. At this Quinta, love of nature is a core value, as the wines are produced with minimal human intervention, making the most of the finest qualities that nature gives the grapes. A guided visit through the estate and a DOC Dão wine tasting await us!

Enjoy a delicious lunch in the winery’s centuries-old family house, where a 3-course regional meal awaits you!

After lunch it is time to continue our adventure through the Dão and carry on visiting Quintas known in the region for combining ancestral knowledge with innovation in the production of the exceptional DOC Dão table wines!
