Guided Tour with Douro and Dão Tasting

We invite you to set off and discover the history of the place that is Taboadella. Must-see points of interest include the Roman press – one of the oldest traces of winemaking in the Dão – and the forest, even before you begin the tour of the vineyards, which can be done on foot or in the traditional 1964 Bedford van. This guided tour also includes the winery, designed by the renowned architect Carlos Castanheira, culminating in the Barrel Top Walk, a wooden walkway built high above the barrel room where the wine rests in the silence of time.

The tour ends with a Wine Tasting at the Taboadella Wine House or, for a larger group, in the winery’s tasting room with access to the balcony.
