Visita Guiada com Prova Villae

We invite you to set off to discover the history of the place of Taboadella. Essential points of interest are the Roman wine press – one of the oldest traces of winemaking in the Dão – and the forest, even before starting the visit to the vineyards, which can be done on foot or in the traditional 1964 Bedford van. This guided visit also includes the winery, designed by the renowned architect Carlos Castanheira, culminating in the Barrel Top Walk, a wooden walkway built at height above the barrel room where the wine rests in the silence of time.

The visit ends with a Wine Tasting at the Taboadella Wine House or, in the case of a larger group, in the winery’s tasting room with access to the balcony.
