From Lisboa to Coimbra with stop Fátima Sanctuary

À propos

After pick up at the hotel, we start the journey from Lisbon to Coimbra, with a stop in Fátima.
The Sanctuary of Fátima is a place of Christian pilgrimage and Catholic devotion, preserving the memory of the events that led to its foundation, namely the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima to the three pastors – Lúcia dos Santos, Francisco and Jacinta Marto – in 1917.
It is one of the most important Marian shrines in the world, belonging to the Catholic Church and the largest international destination for religious tourism, receiving around six million visitors a year.
On this trip, we will visit the Aljustrel site, called Aldeia dos Pastorinhos, where the three shepherds lived. After visits to Casa de Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta, we will go to Cova de Iria, site of the Sanctuary for a free visit to the Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, the Basilica of the Holy Trinity and the Chapel of the Apparitions.
Then we take the direction to the city of Coimbra to leave at the hotel to be determined.
