2-Hour Boat Trip Escaroupim

We begin our cruise in the avieiro fishing village of Escaroupim, with its stilt houses, the fishermen’s boats and the Casa Museu dos Avieiros… we set off passing by Valada do Ribatejo, which seen from a distance is a carpet of little white houses. We observe the church, the marina, the boats… and in the background the Ponte Rainha D. Amélia. We continue our journey and pass by Ilha dos Cavalos, Ilha dos Amores and Palhota, the village where Alves Redol lived and wrote the book “Os Avieiros”, and a little further on we can take in the ilha dos Pássaros. We’ll sail further… amidst the water, the islets and mouchões, a landscape not to be missed. A tasting of 3 regional wines on board (red, white and abafado).

We provide you with an unforgettable experience amid the river’s fauna and flora, where the natural beauty surprises every visitor. You’ll be able to observe a wide variety of plants and animals in their habitat. Herons, storks, crows, woodcocks, wild ducks, eagles, cows and the horse roaming completely free. Return to the Escaroupim quay.
