The Roman wine press – one of the oldest traces of wine-making in the Dão – and the forest are must-see points of interest, even before you begin the visit to the vineyards, which can be made on foot or in the traditional 1964 Bedford van.

This guided tour also includes the winery, designed by the renowned architect Carlos Castanheira, culminating in the Barrel Top Walk, a wooden walkway built high above the barrel room where the wine rests in the silence of time.
