Discover how life on an Alentejo farm really works on this hands-on visit to a small family smallholding in Ourique, in the Baixo Alentejo. Walk the farm with the farmer herself and join her daily routine: meet the resident chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, cows, horses, donkeys and ponies, and help feed them. Learn about each species’ breeding cycle and the care that keeps them healthy and happy. A short, playful educational workshop keeps kids and grown-ups busy and curious. With a maximum of 10 guests, it feels personal and relaxed. Finish with an optional picnic of regional products in the shade of a holm oak.
