Beginner/Training Gear
Very stable equipment optimized for learning fundamentals.
High-volume boards (140L+) (often inflatable for safety and confort), larger, stable wings that generate lift at low speeds.

1) Beginner Wingfoil Lesson
Perfect for first-timers or those transitioning from wind/kitesurf/SUP
Build a solid foundation on land and flat water before flying on the foil. The focus is on safety, wing handling, stance, and balance.

You will learn:

• Equipment setup & wind awareness (wing sizes, foil components, leashes)
• Wing handling on land (power/depower, neutral positions)
• First water start techniques (kneeling → standing) on stable boards
• Balance drills and straight-line riding without foiling
• Introduction to foil awareness (progression to first lifts)

2) Intermediate Wingfoil Lesson
For riders who can stand, ride straight, and are ready to lift and control the foil
Transition from touch-and-go riding to controlled foiling.

You will learn:

• Consistent take-offs: pumping coordination (wing + board)
• Speed control, pitch and height management on foil
• Controlled touchdowns & safe recovery
• Basic steering and first turns on the foil
• Footwork foundations and stance refinement

• Certified instructors with ocean & flat-water teaching experience
• Premium wing, foil board, mast, and safety gear
• Helmet + impact vest + wetsuit
• Board leash & wing leash
• Radio communication (when applicable) for real-time feedback
• Safety briefing + on-water supervision
• Access to Club North by FeelViana Water Center facilities (lockers, showers)
