Évora: Olive Oil Experience

A journey through the flavours and history of the Alentejo – Olive Oil Experience.

Start the day in comfort, with pick-up at your hotel in Lisbon. Straight to Évora, a charming city full of history, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The first stop will be a prestigious Alentejo estate, such as Herdade do Esporão (or similar), where you will have the opportunity to learn about the traditional olive oil production process, from harvest to extraction. The experience culminates in an extra virgin olive oil tasting, where you can savour the unique aromas and textures of this emblematic regional product. In the afternoon, you will have free time for lunch at one of the city’s typical restaurants and to enjoy the local cuisine, rich in Alentejo flavours. Then we continue to the historic centre of Évora for a guided walking tour through the cobbled streets, showing iconic monuments such as the Roman Temple, the Évora Cathedral and the impressive Chapel of Bones, located in the Church of São Francisco. At the end of the day, we return to Lisbon with our souls full of history, culture and authentic flavours.
