Douro Experience (Gaia)

Now over 100 years old, Poças is currently in the hands of the 4th generation, and is one of the rare Port Wine companies that was born Portuguese and has remained in the hands of the same family since its foundation. Our old Tawny Ports built Poças’ reputation, but for 30 years now the DOC Douro wines have also proved their quality.

2019年，Poças 荣获 Revista de Vinhos 杂志颁发的“2018年度加强酒生产商”奖。

The Poças Visitor Centre has been open to the public since 2016 and was fully renovated in 2018 – an innovative project by the architects Lúcia Vaz Pato and António Mota. Welcoming around 30,000 visitors a year, in 2018 the Visitor Centre was awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
