A landscape interpretation route (12.5 km), passing through the rice fields, the Ermida de Alcamé, pastures, the cattle of Companhia das Lezírias, and finally the estuary, with its extensive area of salt marsh and mudflats that helps you understand how this whole territory came to be.

• September to November – Following the rice harvest;

• December to February – Thousands of birds in the rice fields;

• March to April – Endless mirrors of water;

• May to August – Follow the growth of the rice and the transhumance of the cattle, with the chance to watch the work carried out by the campinos on horseback;

Transport from Vila Franca de Xira or Braço de Prata station (Companhia das Lezírias accommodation) included.
