Setúbal and Serra da Arrábida

Description

This daytime tour is aimed at those who already know the typical tourist destinations around Lisbon or who prefer to stay away from the crowds of tourists. Your German-speaking guide and driver will take you to the dreamlike scenery of the Serra da Arrábida. As the area is hard to reach by public transport, you can experience a perfect day far from mass tourism – ending at the beach!

Itinerary

• Hotel pick-up in Lisbon or the surrounding area

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Lisbon. You will then set off in a comfortable car for a journey of approximately 1 hour to Setúbal.

• São Filipe Fort

Visit the fortifications of São Filipe Fort and enjoy the views over Setúbal. Your guide has exciting stories in store for you.

• Setúbal

You now have the opportunity to try the local speciality – fried squid (“Choco frito”). Your guide knows the best places for your lunch (not included in the price).

• Arrábida Viewpoint

Marvel at an impressive viewpoint over the bays of the paradisiacal Arrábida. You will wonder whether you are really in Portugal right now or whether you have been transported to dream beaches in Thailand.

• Beach

Finally, you have the opportunity to relax on the beach. You can choose between an easily accessible beach and a hidden beach reached by a short walk.

• Duration: 8 hours (including 1 hour for lunch or dinner)
