Lisbon’s Street Art Shortcut – Big Murals, Small Walk

An alternative walking tour focused on a patchwork of streets and colourful alleys within the neighbourhood of Graça. Known for its street art murals, panoramic viewpoints, and pleasant atmosphere within one of the boldest neighbourhoods in town during two full hours (we try !).

We highlight the roots of graffiti to the multiplicity of the urban art field, discovering different styles, techniques and many (inter)national artists. But also highlight the historical moments marking Portuguese timeline, the social challenges and reflection in the street (art) scene.

Explore and experience one of the most beautiful and creative cities of Europe passing by its urban art scenery. This tour is open to anybody who wants to discover Lisbon for the first time or wants to dig into this vivid city through an artistic and fun way, may it be as a street art hunter, artlover, or just a curious mind…

We feature the political, economic, and social issues that give rise to Lisbon’s street art and graffiti scenery. Based on the edu-tainment principle, the tour is meant to be fun as you learn something new. In addition to the art, you’ll also learn about the history of Lisbon and its neighbourhoods… just by reading the walls and exploring legal and illegal pieces all around.
